National Project Manager Job No.: 570728 Work type: Fixed Term Full time Fixed term (2 years with possibility of extension) Located at the La Trobe Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus HEO8 Base salary from $119,264 per annum + 17% Superannuation About the position Working in partnership with the primary care and LGBTIQA+ sectors, this national program will embed sustainable, evidence-based change through accreditation, workforce development, and strategic stakeholder engagement. The initiative will support primary care providers, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), and health NGOs to achieve LGBTIQA+ accreditation, deliver training for primary care practitioners, and develop consumer resources that help LGBTIQA+ people access safe and affirming healthcare. As National Project Manager, you will provide operational leadership for this high-profile program, coordinating delivery across a diverse consortium of national partners. You will oversee project implementation, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the program is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with its objectives. You will also be responsible for project governance, risk and quality management, reporting, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to support successful outcomes and lasting impact. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-partner programs or projects at a national scale, including in health, community services, or social policy contexts. Strong understanding of primary care systems in Australia, including the roles of general practice, ACCHOs, PHNs, and relevant accreditation bodies. Proven ability to manage competing priorities, project budgets, and reporting obligations across multiple stakeholders and workstreams. Experience working in meaningful partnership with community organisations and other stakeholders. Knowledge of and commitment to LGBTIQA+ health equity, inclusion, and the specific health needs of LGBTIQA+ communities, including First Nations LGBTIQA+ people. Requirements
- To be considered for this position, you will have:
